Today is March 8, 2025 (2:30pm) and I’m writing this introduction for this landing page. It happens to be written on such a beautifully sunny Saturday afternoon in northern Michigan. Fortunately, it is also my quiet time to be able to write this introduction at the computer! Next, I’m off to our GasTechno Energy Center to feed the fish and work at the office!
My name is Walter Breidenstein and I’m the founder and CEO of GasTechno Corp that was formed on November 5, 2024 with the hope and prayers to go public on the NYSE in 2025. It has been a 20-years journey, let me tell you!
GasTechno is a very unique northern Michigan small business with a bright future after starting in the American Garage. Since its formation in 2004, the GasTechno family of founders and investors has proven their reliability, and the technological innovation that ranks right up there with the big boys listed on Wall Street!
We welcome you to watch our 13+ minute video as it summarizes 12-years starting with our first chemical reaction of Methane-to-Methanol on December 2, 2010, which is the official birth date for GasTechno being “born in the good old fashion American garage”.
GasTechno is one of those small business success stories about a company being born in the American Garage. It has been my dream since I was a young boy, growing up in northern Michigan, by divorced parents and living between homes located in beautiful Harbor Springs and Walloon Lake, Michigan. Think about those “good old days” growing up in the 1970’s and 1980’s and believing in the potential and American optimism. The American Garage dream was alive and well for sure. It is not a Silicon Valley concept entirely.
The “12th Anniversary” video introduces you to GasTechno’s journey from its formation in 2004 to December 2, 2022 (12 years to the day). The beauty of a small business is that it starts, often, in the garage, or is found located in some remote mountain or farmers barn. So much amazing small business value has been created in America and the founders never get to go public, mostly because the daily grind is hard enough. Simply to make an honest living, build a family and business, and then go public is a pipe dream, not a planned reality. Those who have been an entrepreneur will understand, or the typical American family understands, as it can be a painful journey. Fortunately, in the hardest of times, and through the darkest of valleys, the vision never dies. That is the Lord that keeps you grinding it out, as in His time, all good things come to those who wait. Psalm 25:5
